2 Peter 3:1-8

The Apostle Peter said, “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” If that’s true (and it is) then time is going by faster than we think and we need to start living as though we believe that (because we do). May we never minimize the truth of God’s word, especially as it relates to our future. Many will scoff and mock saying that God’s promises and warnings will never happen, but we know God’s track record and that means more than ever, we need to pay attention.
